Uber app taxi row referred to London's High Court

I’ve been following the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association claims that Uber’s app is the equivalent of a taximeter, which is a no-no for private taxicabs. As a recent user of Uber I’ve been blown away by it’s efficiency and convenience (the receipt emails are brilliant). Uber and services of their ilk are the future for me – I can’t remember the last time I took a black cab.
